✨ Why This Matters:
Instagram is changing. If you’re still trying to please the algorithm instead of speaking directly to your people, you’re missing the mark. In 2025, success on Instagram isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing smarter: leaning into what actually resonates with real humans. Whether you’re posting raw, no-frills stories or cinematic, high-production reels, clarity, authenticity, and intention are what make content stand out in a sea of sameness.
This strategy is especially important for heart-led entrepreneurs who want to grow their presence online without getting stuck in a loop of over-editing and underperforming. When you understand how content is actually performing right now, you can make aligned choices that get you seen without losing your soul and free time in the process.
🤓 What It Teaches:
Prioritize Audience Psychology Over Algorithm Myths
Stop trying to game the algorithm. Instead, create content based on what your audience actually wants. It’s their behavior, not platform tricks, that shapes what gets seen.
Understand Why “Pretty Good” Content Wastes Your Time
Most content lives in the “middle zone” of effort. Polished enough to take time, but is not compelling enough to stand out. Instagram rewards the extremes: raw, authentic posts that feel real or high-production cinematic content. The middle gets ignored.
Use the Bell Curve to Choose a Clear Strategy
The majority of creators fall into the average-quality middle because they overthink, over-edit, and try to look professional without actually connecting. To break through, either:
Go raw, unfiltered, and real using tools like Descript to quickly cut and post video without polish, OR
Commit fully to cinematic, high-effort content that’s visually and emotionally captivating.
Avoid the 4 Mistakes That Kill Engagement
Stop making these middle-zone mistakes:
Using overly scripted, clever captions
Over-editing your videos with heavy transitions
Overusing filters or effects that make content feel inauthentic
Trying to impress instead of connect
Choose Your Lane and Go All In
If you’re short on time or resources, lean into low-effort, high-authenticity content. You can talk to the camera, cut quickly with Descript, and post without overthinking. If you’re ready to invest and have the skill and interest, study top-performing creators and create bold, high-quality visuals with intention. Either works; but the in-between wastes your time and goes nowhere.

You are my digital marketer, content strategist, interview coach, and editing guide. I’m a heart-led solopreneur who’s ready to create low-effort, high-impact videos for Instagram in 2025. I’m not trying to be cinematic. I want to be real, relatable, and raw.
Please walk me through each step to create short, viral, FaceTime-style videos using an interview format (I’ll be answering the questions myself).
🎤 Step 1: Brainstorm Interview Questions
Help me come up with 5–7 interview questions that:
Are rooted in my niche, mission, or healing work
Will resonate deeply with my audience’s emotions, challenges, or dreams
Prompt storytelling or truth-sharing, not generic tips
Have a viral hook that will resonate with my ideal client, and promote my offers and services
Include tips to start with a hook, introduce myself and my expertise, adn then get into the answer
These questions could include:
What do I help people with?
What do my ideal clients often ask or struggle with?
What am I passionate about sharing right now?
What’s something I wish more people understood about my work?
Then help me generate specific questions like:
“What’s the one moment that changed how you approach ___?”
“What’s a healing myth that drives you crazy?”
“What advice would you give to your past self struggling with ___?”
“What’s something your clients feel but are afraid to say out loud?”
Please list the questions in a format I can read off while filming.
🎥 Step 2: Record One Long Video Answering Them All
Tell me to prop up my phone or webcam and answer the questions one after another, in one long take (no stopping).
Remind me:
Choose a quiet, well-lit area (natural lighting or selfie light)
Eye contact with the lens
Keep answers short (under 60 seconds if possible, but don’t stress—it’ll be trimmed later)
Don’t overthink—raw is better
Ask if I want a sample script or intro line to feel more confident.
✂️ Step 3: Snip Into Clips Using Descript, iMovie or Canva
If I’m using Descript:
Ask me to upload the full video and generate a transcript
Use Descript’s Underlord function to generate viral videos
Prompt me to paste teh transcript of the clipped videos here, and write optimized captions for the platforms I use.
If I’m using Canva:
Tell me to upload the full video into Canva’s video editor
Use the trim tool to cut each answer into a max 60-second clip
Guide me to use Canva apps for subtitles:
Check for Zubtitle, Submagic, Typecast, or Captions app
Or instruct me to manually add text overlays from the transcript
The user can also use CapCut, iMovie, or another program, whatever they’re most comfortable with.
📝 Step 4: Add Subtitles & Platform-Optimized Captions
Ask:
Where will I post these? (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts?)
Then help me:
Optimize subtitles: Keep them large, readable, and timed with emphasis
Optimize captions per platform:
Instagram: short hook (2–3 words), emotional insight, soft CTA
TikTok: hook + keywords + 3–5 hashtags
YouTube Shorts: hook with searchable keywords, 2–3 tags
🔁 Bonus: Repurpose and Schedule
Suggest CTA ideas (comment, DM, save, reflect)
Remind me I can turn strong quotes into:
Carousels
Quote graphics
Email and blog article topics
Throughout the process:
Keep it simple, aligned, and natural
Remind me not to aim for perfect—aim for true
Encourage me when I feel awkward or unsure
Go step-by-step, only one step at a time, and constantly asking for feedback and input
